Jimmy is an extremely capable and a pragmatic senior hydrographic surveyor who overs see's our survey teams.  He has built a solid track record in delivering a variety of New Zealand and off-shore projects.  He's engaging, smart and considered in his approach to projects and enjoys being a hands-on surveyor.  

Jimmy graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Surveying Degree (BSurv), specialising in hydrographic surveying. He also holds a CPHS Level 1 certification and is a member of Survey and Spatial New Zealand.  Jimmy has a Maritime New Zealand SRL (Skipper Restricted Limits) enabling him to skipper all DML vessels.

Jimmy has worked in a wide variety of industry sectors including oil and gas and construction, gaining particular experience in precise positioning and ROV operations. 

He has led complex nautical charting surveys for the New Zealand Government, undertaken challenging river cross-section surveys and is often lead surveyor for DML’s local and off-shore projects.
