New Images of the HMNZS Waikato and Rainbow Warrior Wrecks
April 1, 2015
High resolution hydrographic surveys for nautical charting of two of New Zealand's prominent recreational game fishing harbours have been completed by DML. Whangaroa and Tutukaka Harbours are well known to the New Zealand and international game fishing fraternity as well as many recreational anglers. The recent hydrographic surveys provided highly detailed images of the sea floor. While on location DML took the opportunity to survey the wrecks of HMNZS Waikato and the Rainbow Warrior. Images show both vessels are still in very good condition while residing in their final resting place.
