DML sponsors William van der Beek

DML is pleased to announce the sponsorship of William van der Beek, of Mount Maunganui College, who has been selected to attend the Junior World Surfing Champs in Japan later this year.

As a company, we see a nice fit in supporting a local surfer in his endeavours to take on the world in an international competition of this scale.

DML encourages our team to pack their surf-boards when they are away on long deployments near great surf breaks, as we think surfing provides an opportunity to de-stress and have fun in our beautiful NZ environment.

Other local community sponsorships that have been provided by DML include:
  • The House of Science
  • Mount Maunganui College, Further Education Scholarship in marine related studies
  • TECT rescue helicopter
  • Omanu Surf Club
  • Tauranga Boys College (Fiji Community Trip)
